Roots reggae Label Addis Records out of Geneva Switzerland presents the video and digital release of dynamic Jamaican roots/rubadub vocalist Isha Bel' project Cost of Living/ Light Haffi Shine medley. On Monday Oct 10,2016, reggae fans across the world watched www.reggaeville.com for the premiere which has so far attracted numerous responses and racked up over 12,000 views less than a week . Addis Records work with Isha Bel began in Jan 2016 after being introduced to her powerful vocals on collaborations with Conscious Sounds (UK) and Idlers Corners record. She first recorded Light Haffi Shine for the label an inspirational track appealing to the positive energies within us. The song was written by Ishabel and George scott a(Wild Life) The. early promotional clip received very positive reviews and comments. The 2nd single Cost of Living is a remake of the 70's song Peace Begins Within covered by the veteran reggaes Singer Nora Dean .Gil Of Addis Records really liked Nora Dean's version of the song and had a vision to recreate it live. He felt Isha Bel was the only artist who could revived it the way he imagined. Isha Bel delivered a raw soulful spunky version of the song giving it enough 2016 sheen, garnering numerous positive feedback
For Isha Bel who has been on a non stop trek the last two and a half years with a number of releases, working with Addis Records came at the perfect time. The songs gives a deep understanding of Isha Bel ‘s passion for inspirational reggae music. Nora Dean version Peace begins within spoke to her on many levels as it mirrors her own search for balance. Isha Bel feels it is part of mission is to represent those Journey Women of Reggae who made the road possible for singers like her . Addis Records and Isha Bel dedicate the release to the memory of the great singer Nora Dean who passed away recently .

A medley music video was shot in Kingston Isha Bel uses the video to highlight her
mission to sings positive songs without fluff and illusions. It is a real glimpse of Isha Bel journey from childhood to present .The video captures sides of Jamaican music from the band stand to the sound system.
This Swiss/Jamaican collaboration is one more step in the mission to preserve roots reggae music.
