Isha-Bel  Biography
With a sweet, soulful voice and a name that describes her vibes very well, Isha-Bel formerly SYSTA IRIE will appeal to both Dancehall and Roots Reggae fans and without apology, she will address not-so-irie-topics. ISHA BEL is a reggae vocalist /songwriter from Kingston Jamaica working out of Caveman International Studios owned and operated by veteran producer " Everton "Dr Cave" Moore. Currently she also works as an opening performer and background vocalist for Reggae Artiste Warrior King.

Growing up in East Kingston, ISHA-BEL (born Natalie Walsh ) spent most of her growing years attending church. She performed with her siblings and her father Donald Walsh (now deceased).
She attributes her love for music and performing to him, he always encouraged her to sing and he provided the inspiration with the gospel cassettes he would play daily
She cultivated & showcased her talent by participating in a host of local talent shows concert and weddings during her high school years


Her first professional experience came through former girl's group 4th Street Sista. She worked with the group for a number of years doing shows locally and overseas.Appearing in local newspapers, Jamaica Gleaner, The Star and the Jamaica Observer: She also participated in the campaign for Miniginon contraceptive with the group.

After the group disbanded she took time out to work on her personal goals and recording her own songs. She collaborated with music producer Hopeton Hibbert (son of reggae icon Toots Hibbert of Toots and the Maytals ). Together they wrote and recorded numerous songs. Her debut album "Loving Desire" was released in 2009 on ROAD DOG PRODUCTION Label, the label she co-founded with Hopeton Hibbert .The Album was released under the SYSTA IRIE moniker.The album is available online through Apple Itunes and CDBABY.The album captures the true essence Isha Bel of as it is peppered with hard hitting social commentary such as RATATAT and RUDEBWOY and sweetened with her odes to love such as LOVING DESIRE and BABY COME HOME. Prior to her debut release she has a number of singles released Imagination on 2006 Confessions Rhythm Compilation and RUDEBWOY on 2007 BreakTime Riddim Album.

In 2010 she was invited by Everton “Caveman” Moore of Caveman Intl to do harmonies on Sizzla’s The Chant Album.He had heard a song she had recorded with all fruits and loved her sound.This marked the beginning of her re-emergence on the music scene. She loves the energy of the Caveman Family  and  irie roots vibes of the music produced  by  Caveman as it blends with her writing and vocal style. Her single “Nuh Call the Police” on the Empress  Reggae riddim is getting lots of love on radio. The song  recorded and produced at caveman studio is a collaboration between Inna di yaad/Scratchilus Rhymes/Caveman.

Besides her solo effort she has worked with several local artistes. She worked 6months with LMS (Morgan Heritage Family ) as substitute vocalist .Toured the USA with Beres Hammond’s FOR THE LOVE OF IT TOUR in  doing lead and backgrounds with Iley Dred. Does gigs in the USA and Jamaica singing live and studio backgrounds for artiste such as Droop Lion ,Sizzla,Miriam Simone, Warrior King Tanya Stephens Yellow man Anthony B etc. Her harmonies can be heard on all releases from Caveman Intl Studios such as the Chant Album by top Reggae  Artiste Sizzla.
Besides her musical sojourn. She held other jobs in the media and entertainment industry. She worked at the Jamaica Observer Newspaper and at the copyright society JACAP. Her influences are musical great such as Tina Turner ,Aretha Franklin, Marcia Griffiths Karen Clark Sheard. She admires these icons for their poise,grace strong performances and vocal delivery. Her all time favorite male singers are the ever controversial Peter Tosh/Jacob Miller and energetic performer Jimmy Cliff.
ISHA BEL is building a lifelong career in the reggae music industry writing and singing positive songs that pique our thoughts and stirs our souls. She sees it as her duty to perform and promote Jamaican music . Flying reggae banner high.
